The Top 10 Moments of this School Year
Hi! So I stopped tumbling for a while but in an effort to restart tumbling I am going to write about a list that I just wrote because I was very bored. I sat down and worked out in my mind the top 10 moments of my senior year. This took some thinking but here it is!
#1- Being Marmee in Little Women! By far my favorite role! I never loved/hated anything more than that play. At the end of that when we sang that last song during the curtain call I felt like my insides were going to burst open with all this happiness and thats really the point i accepted that i was going to college…..i was just never sad about leaving after that cause i felt like i accomplished something that was really really worthwhile for me at least at that point. i cried….a lot…..but this was by far the best experience i had this year!
#2- Adopting my freshman buddy! I am very very super glad I did that cause I super appreciate that boy!
#3- Getting a peppermint patty from my favorite teacher during graduation
#4- McDonalds Trips During Midsummer, I sincerely love singing at people through the drivethrough
#5- Seeing Jesse L. Martin in Merchant of Venice…..when I realized it was him and he started singing I legit cried…..i am totally not ashamed admitting that
#6- Winning the Music Award at my school, it may not have been the most substantial thing in the entire world but it was exciting being awarded and recognized and all.
#7- Having people watch my musical that I wrote and directed with a friend, although this seems the most impressive out of everything it also involved so much work it drove me out of my mind, so it is higher up on the list just because it ruined my life a little but was still totally awesome to have happen
#8- My Romantics and Victorians class! I loved that! Plus I was in it with one of my best friends
#9- Street performing…..yeah that was fun! Also I’ll include getting our drinks paid for by a older couple because that happened all in the same day….i swear that might have been one of the best days of the year!
#10- Sitting on and ostrich….just cause….who sits on an ostrich?
30 Day Musical Challenge- Most recent musical I have seen as a movie is My Fair Lady, as a show I saw Ocean Township’s Les Miserables!!!
30 Day Challenge- Day 17- Last post I made on tumblr without a challenge!
i posted the quote “ohana means family and that means nobody gets left behind or forgotten” !!!!
Favorite adapted musical- I love the movie Rent which was adapted from the musical
30 Day Musical Challenge- Day 16
A Musical That Disappointed Me- I just saw with my Romantics and Victorian’s class Wonderland. It is a new broadway musical. The beginning was promising and pretty good but the second act was absolutely awful. It was like it was written and performed by a completely different set of writers, directors , and actors. That was rather disappointing in general.
30 Day Musical Challenge- Day 15
A Musical I would have loved to see on stage? I would still love to see this. A Little Night Music. I am dying and I just havn’t done it yet!!! I should hurry up because I just checked and Bernadette Peters is still in it and I would super love to see her.
